Comal ISD’s mask policy considered too lenient by some, too limiting by others
NEW BRAUNFELS – Comal ISD’s mask policy is drawing flak for being both too lenient and restrictive.
The district has issued a clarification and apology after some parents were confused by a video the district posted on its Facebook page.
“A lot of parents were concerned that the moment their students would have to walk in the door, that they would put the mask on and never pull it down again until eight hours later when they left the building,” says Steve Stanford, spokesman for Comal ISD.
